Why do you print your regular prints in California, and your Limited Edition prints in Canada?
Because a majority of our customers are in the USA, we use a trusted print house in Los Angeles, California to print and ship our regular prints, for both shipping and cost efficiency. However, with Limited Edition prints, they are printed locally in Kingston, Ontario to ensure that each print can be quality inspected and signed by Richard Martin himself.
Do I need special software or hardware to read eBooks?
All you need is your Mac, PC, laptop or hand held device and any PDF reading software or application. Our eBooks come in two PDF formats: single and double page, which can be read on Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Kindle, and Kindle Fire.
What software or apps do you recommend for reading your eBooks?
We recommend Adobe Reader Software, which can be downloaded for free. The iBooks app included with all Apple devices also works.
Can I download eBooks onto my hand held device?
In most cases, yes. Most tablets and eReaders (including iPad and Nook) and smartphones (including iPhone and Android) read eBook files in EPUB format, but some can also read eBooks in PDF format; although PDF eBooks don't always display well on smaller screens. So we recommend viewing our PDF eBooks on eReader screens, which are significantly larger than smartphone screens.
The PDF eBooks we offer can be viewed on more than one device. So if you download the eBook file to your computer, you can then copy it to a portable eReader, tablet, iPhone or iPad, or smartphone.
Please Note: We strongly recommend researching the right file format for your device, as we cannot be responsible if our PDF file format cannot be viewed on your particular device, and we currently do not offer returns for eBooks.
Once I have purchased my eBook, will it always be available?
Yes, once you have purchased the eBook it is yours.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as direct PayPal account payments.
Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?
No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. However, if you already have a PayPal account, you may use it as your payment method.
How secure is this store?
This shop is powered by Shopify, which complies with the highest level of PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards. Furthermore, we offer the option to process your payment via PayPal, one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world. PayPal uses the highest level of encryption and data security to ensure your details are protected. Paypal securely shares your order and delivery details with us, but does not share any of your sensitive payment information.
What tax do I pay?
If your government requires us to do so, we will add applicable sales tax to your purchase price. The tax might be called Sales Tax, GST or VAT,depending on your country. Tax is normally included in the price of the ebook, or it will be calculated at checkout.
What is your exchange/return policy?
Currently we do not accept returns or exchanges for ebooks, books, or prints. Diligent effort has been made to ensure the image on the screen is as close as possible to the end product. Allowances must be made, however, for colour variances in individual monitors.
If you receive a damaged package or misprinted item, contact Photographic Editions at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of receipt, and we will contact our printing facility and begin the next steps to processing your return.

How long will delivery of my order take?
Shipping times will depend on the product vendor, and the shipping speeds that are available. For a detailed list of shipping speeds, please see our Shipping & Returns policy.
Please note that delivery of orders paid via PayPal eCheck may take an additional 4 to 9 business days to allow for the eCheck transfer period. If you have any questions or concerns about this transfer period, we suggest contacting PayPal directly, or choosing an alternate payment method.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated based upon the number and type of products in your cart. To view shipping costs, add your desired products to your cart, proceed to the cart page, select your country and update your cart total.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to almost every country. To confirm whether we deliver to your country, add your desired products to your cart, proceed to the cart page and check if your country is available for selection.
Why are my products shipped separately, instead of all together?
Each item we ship may have different delivery times, as our products come from two different printing vendors. In the case that your cart contains items from different vendors, like items will be grouped together and shipped separately.
For example, regular prints that ship from Los Angeles, California will be grouped in one shipment, while Limited Edition prints and books that ship from Kingston, Ontario, Canada will be grouped in a separate shipment. For this reason, shipping will be calculated and charged separately for each shipment. Likewise, when ordering a book and a print together, we send our prints in super-durable tubes, and obviously a book won’t fit in there, so those products are packaged and shipped separately.
Will my parcel be charged customs and import charges?
In most cases, any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. The exception to this is for parcels being sent to Brazil or India on our Standard Delivery service. You also may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs.
Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel (this also applies to retail & wholesale customers). Photographic Editions has no control over these charges and we can’t tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We suggest contacting your local customs office for current charges before placing your order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
